Paul McCartney spins a concert circle around Cleveland Paul McCartney has taken a lesson from Bob Dylan's tour philosophy. That is to never really stop the tour. Dylan's has been called the "never ending tour". McCartney's is similar but with fewer dates. The last time McCartney played was at the Hollywood Palladium on September 30 and before that he headlined Lollapalooza on July 31. Now he begins a short segment on his version of the never ending tour with a string of shows that literally circle around Cleveland. The first show is tonight in Columbus followed by shows in State College, PA., Toronto, Detroit and Buffalo. All over...

Good music and good beer We're in the midst of Cleveland Beer Week. It's one of my favorite events of the year. The craft brewing revolution is an amazing story that's gone from hobby to a major economic boon.And it sure tastes good. Let's see, I've done an opening bar crawl, as it were, through the new entertainment scene on the eat bank of the Flats trying various small batch barrels from local brewers. I've attended a bluegrass festival featuring bands and beers. There's been the Society of Northeast Ohio Brewers (SNOB), a hobbyist group, collaborations with local brewers and the Onshore Pour last night....
