Sights on the island of Sicily I just spent the past two weeks on the island of Sicily. I'd say I was in Italy, and I was, but the people on that island, just off the toe of the boot, consider themselves Sicilians first. Sicily has an amazing history. They were under the rule of numerous leaders including the Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Greeks, Romans, Arabs, Normans, Spain and, eventually, Italy. Cool music videos of the week Trevor Powers, the man and the voice behind Youth Lagoon, has to have the quirkiest voice in music today. It's polarizing, but I tend to enjoy it. Morrissey performs live on a British TV show last weekend. There's something about sad lyrics set to catchy pop songs. Here's a good example. Robyn has a new song out, though she's going by the name Nixxie. The little minx. Can there ever be enough Lana Del Rey videos? No.
